What is Augmented Reality?
Augmented Reality concepts
Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology which allows inserting virtual elements in the real world in order to assist the individual with some task or information. The user can interact with these virtual elements. The objective of AR is to increase the real world with valuable virtual information.
AR can be used to assist in surgery, war training, assist elderlies, people with dementia, etc.
AR differs from Virtual Reality (VR). Virtual Reality is all built in 3D virtual interfaces. The user can be immersed in VR interfaces. These VR interfaces are usually a copy of the real world.
VR have been used as video game entertainment, training and education.
